I agree to a certain extent. When you're young, you trade lower expenses for less knowledge. However, for web technologies, it's so dynamic that this advice applies hands over fist...
Which brings me to the next disadvantage. The saying goes, "It's who you know..." It's traditional to think you know more people and have more networks as you get older and you work at your share of big companies.
What do I fit? Having the conviction to believe not being in the Valley and being young that my team can still rise up. :)
